Learn techniques on how to use your singing and speaking voice more effectively. Participants will learn breathing and vocal exercises and how to apply those concepts to their performance. Stage Combat

In this workshop, we’ll cover fundamental concepts like consent, partnering, and distance among others, leading up to the delivery of a safe stage punch and learning how to fall down safely after “taking a hit”. No need to bring anything but comfortable clothes and some water to stay hydrated.

Looking for a calm option during Teen Arts? ​​Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation for complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation; a guided meditation of consciousness between awake and asleep. Students will learn useful tools that will help them de-stress, re-focus, and get ready to perform as their true selves. The feeling of nesting is important in this kind of meditation so blankets, pillows, eye pillows, yoga mat, or blanket is a great idea-. anything to make yourself warm and comfortable.

Edible Identity: The Culinary Canvas Experience

Instructor: Warren DeShields

Workshop Type: Culinary

In this interactive, hands-on workshop, students will explore food as a form of artistic expression. Using rice bowls, tortilla shells, and rice noodles as their canvas, participants will build visually striking, no-cook creations that reflect their personality, culture, mood, or creative vision.

Through a live demonstration, Chef D will show how chefs think like artists using color contrast, texture, height, and negative space to transform simple ingredients into bold, plated statements. Students will then design and plate their own edible masterpiece at their table, learning how composition and intention can turn everyday food into visual art.

This session blends culinary arts, visual design, and personal storytelling through social media. Participants will leave with new plating skills, creative confidence, and a deeper understanding of how food can communicate identity.
