Please carefully review all category requirements below before submitting a visual arts entry form. Submissions that fail to meet the listed requirements risk disqualification from the NJ State Teen Arts Festival nomination process. One form per performance is required. All entry forms are due by April 7, 2025.
LABELS – All work must be labeled with the Teen Arts festival label template included in this link.
Please make sure that all student artwork is clearly labeled on the bottom-front of the artwork. If needed an arrow indicating which side of the work points up ^
All 2-D artwork must be ready to hang for display. Matting is preferred. No artwork in glass or framed in glass will be accepted.
All 3-D work must be stable and able to stand on its own.

ADJUDICATION, ADVANCEMENT, and ART PICK-UP –
All Visual Art is adjudicated prior to the festival. Students whose art will advance to the NJ State Teen Arts Festival are to leave their work at the conclusion of the festival. Advancing students will have their work showcased at the May 21st ceremony. Artwork not advancing are to be taken home at the conclusion of the festival.
Artwork from each category listed will be selected to represent Cumberland and Cape May Counties at the NJ State Festival. Alternates for each county will also be selected in the event the nominee(s) is/are unable to attend the NJ State Teen Arts Festival.
CATEGORY GUIDELINES
2-D ART
Only one entry per student per arts category is permitted.
All artwork must be original.
All work must be suitable for public exhibition representing your school.
Maximum number of pieces per school is 30 2-D (includes photographs and oversize pieces).
3-D ART
Only one entry per student per arts category is permitted.
All artwork must be original.
All work must be suitable for public exhibition representing your school.
Maximum number of pieces per school is 10 3-D pieces.
